All furniture is designed and created at Simon’s home in Whalley Range. A quiet, leafy suburb of Manchester that is also a conservation area.

 

The space is divided into three areas. The main workshop is for woodworking and has a bench and hand tools for jointing. Across the divide is the machine shop for rough sizing and calibrating to accurate sizes, and through to the back is the timber store. The whole area is regulated for temperature and humidity.
